Shipping and Return Policies

Shipping Policy:

Gpsdude uses UPS as its primary shipper.  We offer both standard ground and various expedited shipping methods. The cost of each is determined at checkout using our real time connection with UPS.

When using Standard Ground Service, most packages arrive within 5 to 7 days of their shipping date.  If using an express service, most packages will arrive within 1 to 3 days of their shipping date, depending on the level of service you have selected. Every effort is made to ship your order the same day it is placed; however, it may take up to three business days to ready your package for shipment. Our office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.EST, Monday through Friday excluding holidays. If you place an order after our normal business hours, we consider the following business day as day one. As an example, if you place an order on Saturday, the latest an in stock item would ship would be end of day Wednesday. Regardless of the shipping method you have picked. Once the product is shipped, the mail carrier controls how long it will take to get to you, Ground, up to seven days, Express 1 to 3 days, again typically, but controlled completely by the carrier. In the unlikely event that your merchandise is out of stock, and needs to back ordered, you will be notified of the approximate shipping date by email.

Please note, UPS does not delivery to PO, APO, or FPO Boxes, you must included your street address when placing an order.

Returns Policy:

Only merchandise that is in new and unopened packaging will be accepted for return. Special orders, open box specials, and used items are not returnable. All returns, except defective merchandise, are subject to a 10% return charge.

How long do I have to make a return?

    The merchandise you are returning, must be received (not shipped) at our office within 15 days of your order date.The order date is included on the invoice that is emailed to you after a purchase.

How do I do a return?

    It's three easy steps.

    1. Request a return authorization number (RAN).
    2. Write this number on the package so that it is easy to see.
    3. Pack the product for return shipping.
    4. Make sure to pack the product so that it will not get damaged in return shipping. The product must be placed in another box for shipping.

      Insure the package for the value of the contents and ship. You are responsible for all shipping cost, including insurance. Forward to us a tracking number for your return shipment.

What is a return authorization number(RAN) and how do I get one?

    A return authorization number (RAN) is a multi-digit number we use to track your returning shipment. To request a RAN "Click Here". A RAN will be issued by email within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.

Can I return a defective product?

    All the products we sell are covered by a manufacturer's warranty. If the product is found to be defective within the first 15 days after you receive it GPSDUDE.COM will accept a return, without a 10% return charge as long as you will accept an exchange for the same type of product. If you wish to be issued a credit or refund, a 10% return fee will be charged. After the initial 15 day period contact the manufacturer directly for service.

How long does it take to get my refund?

    Typically, your refund is credited back to your credit card within seven business days after we receive and inspect your return.
